Alandia Davis Terry is a faithful Christian, devoted wife, and proud mother of three. She has been a resident of Mobile, Alabama, for the past forty-five years.

In 2003, Alandia earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood and Elementary Education from the University of Mobile. She continued her education at the University of South Alabama, where she received a master’s degree in Elementary Education in 2007.

From 2003 to 2017, Alandia dedicated herself to teaching as an elementary school educator within the Mobile County Public School System, serving at Holloway Elementary School. In 2019, she took on the role of Daycare Director at Nazaree Full Gospel Church for one year.

After obtaining her license as a childcare group home provider, Alandia went on to receive National Accreditation in 2024—a significant milestone in her career. She founded Granny’s Corner Childcare Center as a legacy business in honor of her mother, Alfreda Hayes Dees, a beloved and long-time child advocate.

Over the years, Alandia has also developed a deep love for music and song. Nazaree Full Gospel Church has been her spiritual home for more than 18 years. In addition, she is an active member of Kingdom Life Center, where she serves as both administrator and bookkeeper.

One of her most cherished scriptures is Proverbs 22:6:

"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."
